Reports surface about the beginning of economic mobilization in Belarus - Latushko, member of the opposition government
The Belarusian economy could be put under martial law, the State Security Committee has conducted an analysis and inspection of all enterprises.
Pavlo Latushko, the Deputy Chairman of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus, reports "Espreso.TV" live on air.
"We have a fairly reliable insider that economic mobilization is taking place in Belarus. It involves the transfer of enterprises to the wartime regime of both state and private forms of ownership. Belarus authorities carry out preparations for the mobilization of the economy for several months and we previously received information about this," he noted.
According to Latushko, the State Security Committee, under the leadership of the Secretariat of the Security Council, conducted an analysis and inspection of all enterprises.
"We compiled a corresponding list of those enterprises that may be involved in the event of the declaration of martial law or the further support of the Lukashenko regime in the war in Ukraine. According to the available data, Volfovich, Russian general and Secretary of the Security Council, actually becomes the chief of staff of the entire country and has the right to manage, as a regional authority, and specific enterprises," the politician concluded.
