The project's objective is to equip Ukrainian units with long-range and precise weapons and to manufacture 1,000 Hunter Killer (XaKi-20) self-operating unmanned bombers
The aim of this project is to manufacture 1,000 Hunter Killer (XaKi-20) self-operating unmanned bombers. The presentation of this initiative took place on June 20. The project's objective is to equip Ukrainian units with long-range and precise weapons. Currently, Ukraine has several companies engaged in creating attack drones. Each company has its own focus and approach to developing such systems.
Vadym Kodachihov, a fighter from the 241st brigade and the driving force behind the "Wings of Revenge" project, explained that the main idea of the initiative is to make the Russians experience the horrors of war. He expressed the view that the Russian population should feel fear, which is why Ukraine needs to strengthen its fleet of autonomous drone bombers. Kodachihov stated that this main idea of the project is connected to the belief that Russians will become more active in opposing Putin's regime. He firmly believes that only when the war reaches Russian territory will any significant changes occur.
Furthermore, Vadym Kodachihov mentioned that the project aims to utilize a squadron of unmanned bombers as the primary remote weaponry. He stated that the XaKi-20 drones can carry a combat load of up to 15 kg and can remain in flight for up to 6 hours. This modern weapon system will enable swift attacks on enemy positions and targets. Kodachihov also emphasized that the drones will be capable of destroying various types of military equipment and enemy personnel.
