No matter how many kind words China says, Russia no longer exists for Beijing - diplomat Ihor Kharchenko
China is worried about what will happen to Eurasia, the territory on which the Russian Federation has unleashed a full-scale war
This was stated by Ukrainian diplomat Ihor Kharchenko on Espreso TV Chanel.
"Let's not forget that the war currently going on in our territory, when we are defending ourselves from a maddened enemy, is going on not only in the part of Ukraine, but also in Europe and Eurasia as well. And the majority of the world's population lives in Eurasia. And China and India are the two most powerful states here. And I think that the interests of the Chinese are guided by these considerations about what will happen to Eurasia," he said.
The diplomat noted that Russia is no longer a strong geopolitical player for China.
"It seems that even the Chinese have written off Russia not only as a Eurasian player but in general. No matter how many kind words Chinese comrades say to the Russian Federation - that's all, and there is no more Russia for China," he added.
