Maintaining attention, pressure are vital in protecting the lives of captive Ukrainian soldiers - Natalia Zarytska
Natalia Zarytska, the wife of the Azov fighter, is convinced that attention and pressure are key to the life of Ukrainian soldiers who are in Russian captivity
The Ukrainian woman shared the details on Espreso TV live on air.
"Attention and pressure are the key to the life and health of our defenders. That is why the Council of Wives and Mothers of Defenders of Ukraine "Women of Steel" is holding the campaign "100+ letters to the world". And the number of these letters has already reached 400," Zarytska noted.
The Azov fighter's wife explained that the letters are aimed at drawing attention to the fact of violation of the norms of international law and the Geneva Convention by the Russian Federation in relation to Ukrainians.
"We are sending these letters to the leaders of international organizations, to the leaders of states, as a reminder that the Geneva Convention regarding Ukrainian prisoners held by the Russian Federation is not being implemented. We ask you to familiarize yourself with such a letter and be aware of the fact of violation of the norms of international humanitarian law. We ask you to help to ensure that these norms are observed," Natalia Zarytska noted.
