Lukashenko will attack Ukraine - Kasparov
"Belarus will attack Ukraine" says Russian opposition figure, political emigre, and world chess champion Gary Kasparov.
He shared information on Telegram on the evening of Saturday, July 2, 2022.
Kasparov's post entitled "Belarus will attack Ukraine" appeared after the latest statements of the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Oleksandr Lukashenko, on relations with Ukraine and Western countries.
"Lukashenko stepped up and began to threaten according to the Kremlin's method. The unrecognized president of Belarus said that the "sight" is already on the command posts of enemy countries that threaten Minsk. Lukashenko also added that a few days ago the Ukrainian side tried to launch missile strikes on the republic, but all the missiles were intercepted. Most likely, all this is being said by the mouth of the Kremlin, not by Lukashenka himself. We all know that he is simply playing the role of a puppet in Putin's big game," said Garry Kasparov.
In his opinion, "the account has gone to the bottom".
"Now the account has gone to the bottom, because the language (Lukashenko - ed.) has changed from neutral to aggressive, although Oleksandr Lukashenko declares that "Minsk does not want to fight with Kyiv", but it is more like "does not want, but does not allow choice”. Everything is done under the pretext of protection against invasion by Poland, but this is the same stupidity as the famous "liberation" (of Ukraine by the Russians - ed.), where in reality no one met with a cow and flowers," Kasparov stressed.
