Lukashenko to postpone Belarusian offensive against Ukraine until the last moment - Denysenko
Belarus does not yet have a level of troop build-up consistent with the risk of a lasting invasion of Ukraine.
Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Vadym Denysenko said this during the united telethon, Ukrinform reports.
"As far as I understand and as far as we can see, there is no such concentration. So, we can say that at the moment Lukashenko is not ready to enter with his army, and Russia is not ready to start hostilities on the side of Belarus," he noted.
Denysenko recalled Lukashenko's statement that he would definitely come to Crimea.
"It's already been 12 months since he went to Crimea. He will wait until the end, that's the only thing we have to understand," he said.
Regarding information about training on the territory of Belarus, the DRG Denysenko said that the border guards, the police, the Main Intelligence and the Security Service detect such groups as much as possible.
"First of all, this concerns not so much Belarus as the frontline zones," Denysenko added, saying that such cases also occur on the side of Belarus.
