In the war with Ukraine "the truth is on Russia's side" - Lukashenko
The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, claims that, in the war Russia launched against Ukraine, truth is on the aggressor's side.
Lukashenko said this during a speech in honor of the Independence Day of Belarus, which was broadcast on the local television.
"The tragedy of the Belarusians is that two brotherly peoples, Russians and Ukrainians, clashed today. This is our tragedy, but we have always said that the truth is stronger. And today the truth is on the side of brotherly Russia. We are the only country that supports the Russians in this struggle. And there are many countries on the other side, almost fifty, which are actually fighting against Russia in Ukraine. Something is out of balance," Lukashenko said.
On July 2, Aleksandr Lukashenko stated that Ukraine allegedly fired missiles at Belarus, which were intercepted by anti-aircraft warfare. In addition, the Belarusian dictator announced that he directed his own missiles at the capital of Ukraine and the countries of the West, which he considers unfriendly.
