If Belarusian forces cross Ukrainian border it will become the last day of their independence - Viktor Yahun

He expressed this opinion on Espreso TV.

The Major General of the Ukrainian Security Service commented on who is working with the Belarusian army and population and persuading them to participate in the war against Ukraine.

"Unfortunately, Russia is working there. According to our information, most of the Belarusian army does not want to fight and the quality of this Belarusian military power will be like a Trojan horse in Russia. And if Belarusians participate in the war, Lukashenko's last chance, the last shred of his independence from Russia, will be destroyed. And Lukashenko understands this as well. So, the day when the Belarusians cross the border of Ukraine, and if it happens, maybe in late January or early February. It will be the final decision to ruin Belarusian independence for the near future," said Yahun.

He noted that Belarusian forces would be at the forefront. If they do not surrender, they will be destroyed. And that chance that could protect Belarus as an independent state will simply vanish.
