"I gladly accept": Liz Truss is ready to visit Ukraine soon
New British Prime Minister Liz Truss has accepted an invitation to visit Ukraine and confirmed the country's "unwavering" support for the war with Russia

On September 6, Truss spoke with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy- it was one of her first phone conversations with a foreign leader in her new position.
The Prime Minister confirmed "the United Kingdom's unwavering support for the freedom and democracy of Ukraine," the Truss office reported.
"The prime minister said that she is looking forward to working with the president in the coming weeks and months, and gladly accepts an invitation to visit President Zelenskyy in Ukraine soon," the message reads.
