Germany to provide Ukraine with 10 refrigerated trucks to store bodies of fallen soldiers
Ukraine will receive 10 refrigerated trucks from Germany to store the bodies of fallen soldiers. This is the result of the Office of the Commissioner for Missing Persons' work
This was reported by the Commissioner for Missing Persons Oleh Kotenko.
On September 1, Kotenko held an online meeting with representatives of the Federal Agency for Technical Assistance (THW) of the German Ministry of the Interior and representatives of the German Bureau of Forensic Medicine.
The parties discussed possible assistance from international partners to facilitate the search and identification of missing persons.
As a result of the meeting, the Federal Agency for Technical Assistance announced that it would provide Ukraine with 10 refrigerators (containers and refrigerated trucks) to store the bodies of fallen defenders.
"We are grateful to the international donors who continue to support the humanitarian mission of the Ombudsman's Office and other related structures. This assistance is extremely important for our country," Kotenko said.
