Germany announces transfer of Patriot anti-aircraft missile system to Ukraine
Germany has provided Ukraine with a Patriot anti-aircraft missile system with rockets and special vehicles, over the past week

In addition to the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system and rockets, the German side transferred 16 Zetros trucks and two cars for border patrol.
Note that Germany has promised to provide Ukraine with one battery of the Patriot air defense system. One battery includes four to eight launchers, each with a capacity of four missiles. In addition to Germany, the United States and the Netherlands promised to provide Ukraine with Patriot systems.
At the end of March, the Ukrainian military completed training on the Patriot system in the United States - earlier than expected.

On April 15, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ihnat, said that Patriot anti-aircraft systems would arrive in Ukraine "after Easter." Later, he explained that he was not talking about a specific timeframe, but about the typical Ukrainian expression "after the holidays."
