Fierce battles take place neat Antonivka bridge – former deputy mayor of Kherson

He said this on Espreso TV. 

“Over the last day, the Kherson region was shelled more than 90 times. In particular, the city of Kherson. The city was shelled 18 times and more than 100 shells were fired. The shelling continued throughout the day. There are wounded and dead,” he said. 

The former deputy mayor of Kherson said that intense fighting continues in the area of Antonivka bridge.

“Fierce battles are currently taking place in the area of Antonivka bridge. The situation is consistently tense. The fighting does not stop. The same applies to shelling. In fact, the fighting continues in the city of Kherson and the suburbs,” he added.

• On the afternoon of June 29, the Russian army fired on Kherson, hitting residential buildings, a medical facility and a school. The shelling resulted in deaths and injuries.

• Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said that on the morning of June 30, the Russian troops shelled Kherson and the village of Mykhailivka in the region: a 72-year-old woman and a 70-year-old man were wounded.
