Evacuation of Ukrainian military from Azovstal is possible under external pressure on Putin - Palamar, deputy commander of Azov Regiment
The deputy commander of the Azov Regiment Svyatoslav 'Kalyna' Palamar believes that rescue of the Ukrainian military needs support from a 'third party'.
The Deputy Commander shared his opinion with Radio Liberty.
"It's not so much that the government itself can do, it needs the support of a third party. Guarantees from international partners, pressure on Putin. If he managed to evacuate civilians and he went for it, then such a possibility exists. It all depends on external pressure, from those countries which can influence him," the deputy commander said.
Palamar believes in Russia's humanity.
"I think the powerful people of the world could use this opportunity. This should be done already. The situation is critical. Guys die, the medicine we have isn't enough. We have to do surgery without anesthesia. If there is no one to stand up for our fighters, it will be a catastrophe," he warns.
Zelensky uses all possible tools to evacuate Ukrainian troops from Mariupol, but Russia doesn't consent to any of the options.
