China's strategic goal today is world division and dominance - Ukrainian politician
Arseniy Yatsenyuk, politician, twice Prime Minister of Ukraine, believes that China sees the West as either subordinate to it or disunited by it
He expressed this opinion on Espreso TV.
"As for China's position that it really wants to cooperate with the West, I have no doubt. China does cooperate with the West, but it does so for one purpose, its so-called soft power. China has strategic goals, the specifics of which are not days, years, or even centuries old. China's history shows that their strategic goals can go back thousands of years. And China's current strategic goal is only one: a new division of the world and dominance of a new axis, where China can be the leader, and the West will either be subordinate to it or be disunited by it," the politician explained.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk noted that this is the reality in which we must live and not wear pink glasses.
"China and the modern West are not friends, and Russia and the modern West are direct enemies. China and Russia are friends. So we have come to very simple conclusions - who is on which side of history now," Yatsenyuk summarized.
