China will turn Russia into its colony - analyst Burkovskyi
The executive director of the Democratic Initiatives Foundation named after Ilko Kucheriv, Petro Burkovskyi, says China is taking advantage of Russia's weakening and isolation from the West
He said this on Espreso TV.
“China will try to occupy all the niches that Western companies have left in Russia. Russia is looking for options to get Chinese microchips to use in its military weapons. The Russians have officially expressed their displeasure that China does not allow its latest chips, which are used in the Chinese defense complex, to be supplied to Russia. China will continue to expect that if Russia loses the 2023 campaign, they will not supply Russians with microchips,” Burkovskyi emphasized.
According to the analyst, China fears that our partners may find countermeasures to Chinese weapons.
“China fears that Chinese equipment will fall into our hands and, accordingly, fall into the hands of our Western allies. And the West will find countermeasures to Chinese weapons. China will keep Russia at a distance, not letting it approach, but increasingly tying the Russian economy to its. China will turn Russia into its colony in an economic sense,” Burkovskyi explained.
