Russian political scientist Andriy Piontkovskyi believes that the US may reach agreement with China on the fate of Putin.

He expressed this opinion on the air of the program "Studio Zahid with Antin Borkovsky" on the TV channel Espreso.

"Putin is more interested in his own life. And he understands now that he urgently needs to seek a truce. That's why he didn't go to this provocation. But why didn't he go? He committed a crime. 20 people were killed in an attack on a train in the Dnipropetrovsk region,  but he did not commit full-scale crimes - the carpet bombing of Kyiv, the liquidation of the military and political leadership of Ukraine, which the ultra-fascists demanded from him. Because he wants to live," Piontkovsky emphasized.

The political scientist believes that the West should use Putin's desire to live for Russia's complete surrender.

"Putin's desire to live needs to be exploited by the West and Ukraine, preparing a scenario for him to leave the political arena, and maybe from Russia, with his life preserved. These days I have been thinking a lot about this topic and the idea came to me that it would be good for the Americans to talk about  it with China. The Chinese can persuade him, he will believe them - offer to take all his children, mistresses, beloved friend Kovalchuk or Patrushev, and go to China to live well there. These days it has become clear that this is his vulnerable place. He  does not want the fate of Gaddafi, he understands that this crowbar is already knocking on his back. And it seems to me that with a successful conversation with the Chinese comrades, who are also not interested in continuing the war for economic reasons, everything can work out. They have arranged their test.  Pushing Putin to war, they were guided by the words of Lao Tzu: "The wise should sit on the bank of the river and wait for the corpse of the enemy to float past you." They waited for the corpse to float. If the West, the Americans would not dare to give military aid and Putin would win, then the corpse of the American enemy would float in front of them.  And now Putin's corpse is clearly floating in front of them.  We need to convince them to pick up this corpse," he added.
