China purposely leaves Russia without money - international expert Kraiev
Oleksandr Kraiev, an expert of the Ukrainian Prism Foreign Policy Council, says that the relations between China and Russia vividly illustrate abusive relationships in which the victim becomes dependent.
He shared the details with Espreso TV.
Oleksandr Kraiev commented on the relations between China and Russia, which increasingly resemble abusive relations (abuse is a process of physical or psychological violence - Ed.).
"China has refused long-term contracts with Russia, as well as providing access to its gold and currency reserves, some of which are located on the territory of China. In other words, in fact, Beijing is purposely leaving Russia without money, so that it is even more dependent on it. This is really how abusers behave in personal relationships," Kraiev emphasized.
The expert of the Foreign Policy Council Ukrainian Prism noted that China, giving Russia several drones or some components, or some raw materials, then forces Russia to praise it for this, creating circumstances where it seems that without China, Russia will collapse altogether. Accordingly, it will have any value or success only with China. This is a visual, powerful illustration that explains abusive relationships where the victim in that relationship is dependent.
"China plays the long game and counts on a strategic perspective, because after canceling long-term contracts with the Russians, for example, for the extraction of natural gas or the creation of liquefied gas terminals, China at the same time buys the Russian federal companies Nornickel, Gazprom, and Rosneft. On the one hand, such a policy of China is aimed at vassalizing Russia, and on the other hand, it is a game against the Americans. It is known that Beijing has difficult negotiations with the Americans, so it shows its own policy with Russia. China will create a sponsoring economy from Russia, albeit resource-rich and underdeveloped, but still sponsoring," Kraiev explained.
