Budanov on destruction of Russian forces in Crimea: you can see it now, you will see it again soon
On August 22, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, said that Ukrainians would soon see actions aimed at destroying Russian forces in the temporarily occupied Crimea
The intelligence chief said this to ITV.
He said that "unfortunately, there are people in Crimea who are very afraid of this, but there are many who are waiting," so Budanov believes that they should be "given confidence that their hopes are not in vain."
"This is why we have to organize events like the Crimean Platform. Events, so to speak, with the resistance movement in the temporarily occupied territories. Just to destroy the invaders in our Crimea, which is generally what is being done. You can see it now and you will see it again in the coming days," Budanov said, hinting at new strikes against the invading Russian forces in Crimea.
The event was attended by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Tamila Tasheva, and the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov.
