British Ministry of Defense will hand over 25,000 sets of winter uniforms to Ukraine
Addressing the House of Commons British Defense Minister Ben Wallace announced the aid package for the Ukrainian military for the winter period
This was reported by the correspondent of Yevropeyska Pravda news outlet.
"Supporting Ukraine remains the main priority of the Ministry of Defense. We are helping Ukraine replenish supplies to continue the fight. As winter is approaching, we are preparing a package to support Ukraine at this time of the year, which will include, in particular, 25 thousand sets of winter uniforms. So they (Ukrainians) will be more effective on the battlefield than their ill-prepared and ill-armed Russian counterparts," Wallace said.
The minister also added that London will continue to provide missiles for air defense systems to Ukraine "taking into account the ongoing and indiscriminate attacks on civilian infrastructure."
"We are proud to be the second largest donor of military aid to Ukraine. Last week I announced that Britain would provide Ukraine with additional missiles for air defense systems to defend against Russian strikes. We continue to supply high-end electronic warfare equipment that provides an additional layer of protection against long-range drones and missiles," he said.
