Explosions were heard in Crimea, allegedly in the area of Balaklava, where the Russian Navy base, power station, and military warehouses are located
The explosion in Sevastopol is confirmed by Suspilne media with reference to a local resident.
The Radio Liberty’s Krym. Realii project, citing local Telegram channels, claims that the explosion occurred near the village of Sakharna Golovka. There is a thermal power plant there, as well as four warehouses of weapons, ammunition, equipment and military property of the Russian Federation.
The Russian opposition Telegram channel Cheka-OGPU published a video from the site of the explosion and reported that, according to some sources, it occurred near the Balaklava naval base, according to others - in the area of the Sevastopol CHP.
The occupying governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, said that a UAV was shot down near Kara-Koba Mountain, and grass and bushes caught fire.
"According to preliminary data, a UAV was shot down near Kara-Koba. There was an explosion on the ground, grass and bushes caught fire. Fire crews have already started extinguishing the fire on the spot," Razvozhayev said.
