Belarus will be a threat to Europe, Ukraine as long as Lukashenko is in power - Belarusian opposition activist Latushko

He shared his opinion with Espreso TV. 

"You should not underestimate Lukashenko's words about nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus. If Lukashenko talks about something, he tries to achieve it. I know this person very well. This person is very vindictive and he always achieves his negative goals. He was engaged in political murders and repression of society. Therefore, these words should not be treated as just his rhetoric", Latushko explained.

The Belarusian opposition leader emphasized that Europe does not react to Lukashenko's actions.

"Of course, he will not be able to implement his plans without Russia. I would not rule out the fact that nuclear weapons will appear on the territory of Belarus in the near future. They do not care about international agreements. Therefore, today in the face of Lukashenka we see a nuclear blackmailer. This is a problem for Europe. And the West allows Lukashenko to do what he does. This is a strategic mistake by the Europeans. There are a lot of tools to punish Lukashenko. However, they do nothing. That is why, as long as Lukashenko is in power, Belarus will remain a threat to Europe and Ukraine", he added.
