Belarus announces they completed checking combat readiness of military

According to information from the Belarusian Defense Ministry, the Armed Forces have completed the measures to check combat readiness, which were carried out on the instructions of the self-proclaimed president Oleksandr Lukashenko.

On December 12, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that the Kremlin is pushing the Lukashenko regime to war in Ukraine in order to strengthen its control over Belarus. On the same day, it became known that the Russian army is moving military equipment to the border between Belarus and Ukraine.

In turn, Ukraine continues to strengthen the entire border with Belarus in order to prepare for any possible development of events.

On December 13, a sudden check of the combat readiness of the armed forces began in Belarus.
