Aid to Ukraine will be increased if Johnson is elected: international expert Braylian names main PM candidates
Yehor Braylian, a British historian and international commentator, noted that now the main candidates to become the British Prime Minister are the former Minister of Finance Rishi Sunak, certainly Boris Johnson, as well as Ben Wallace, the Minister of Defense
He expressed this opinion on Espreso TV.
"It's a pity that this happened with the premiership of Liz Truss, who was the prime minister of Great Britain for only one and a half months. And now the main candidates for this position are the former Finance Minister of Great Britain Rishi Sunak, certainly Boris Johnson and I would not exclude Ben Wallace, the British Minister of Defense, who flew to Washington the day before to meet with the US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin," the international expert noted.
According to Braylian, the West is considering various scenarios for Ukraine, including the possible use of nuclear weapons by Putin's regime.
Braylian emphasized: "For Ukraine, the re-election of Johnson or the election of Ben Wallace will be good news. Boris Johnson definitely has prospects of returning to the post of Prime Minister of Great Britain. In addition, in September, Johnson headed the UK support group for Ukraine and, in case of re-election to the post, the aid will only increase."
