Ukrainian troops advance south of Robotyne to Novoprokopivka village
Ukraine's Armed Forces are advancing south from Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region to the village of Novoprokopivka. Invading Russian troops are suffering losses and are forced to redeploy troops from other areas of the front
Oleksandr Shtupun, spokesman for the press center of the Tavria Defense Forces, said this during the telethon.
"Despite rather difficult combat conditions, our troops advanced in the areas of Urozhayne and Robotyne. At the moment they are advancing in the direction of Novoprokopivka near Robotyne and in the direction of Mala Tokmachka - Ocherevate," emphasized the spokesman.
He also noted that in the Zaporizhzhia sector, the enemy has reinforced its air component and increased the number of air strikes. However, this indicates that the enemy cannot restrain the offensive of our troops with other forces and means.
"They are irretrievably losing up to 100 people every day, as well as wounded and prisoners. Yesterday they lost a total of 305 people. They are trying to patch it up, but it is a mess," added Shtupun.
At the same time, the spokesman emphasized that the defenders face "quite powerful" Russian defense lines ahead.
