Russian army fighting near Robotyne without rotations and reinforcements – ISW
On August 25, the Ukrainian army continued counteroffensive near Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region and advanced as Russian "military bloggers" expressed concern about the lack of reinforcements and rotation in the area
This was reported by analysts of the Institute for the Study of War.
In addition, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian troops had achieved unspecified success in the areas of Novodanylivka-Novopokrovka (5-13 km south of Orikhiv) and Mala Tokmachka-Ocheretuvate (9-25 km southeast of Orikhiv).
It is noted that one prominent Russian "military blogger" expressed concern about the ability of battle-weary Russian troops to defend themselves against possible future attacks from Ukraine in the area of Robotyne (10 km south of Orikhiv) amid claims that the fighting had moved to the southern part of Robotyne. He claims that many of the Russian troops fighting near Robotyne have been on the front lines since the Ukrainian counteroffensive began and that these units are struggling with a lack of reinforcements on the front lines.
This statement confirms analysts' assessment that Russian troops fighting in western Zaporizhzhia region have been defending themselves against Ukrainian attacks since the start of the counteroffensive without rotation or significant reinforcements.
