Ukrainian soldiers set up Ukrainian flag in recaptured Robotyne village in Melitopol sector
On August 23, soldiers of the 47th Brigade raised the Ukrainian flag with Zaluzhnyi's signature in the village of Robotyne in the Melitopol sector
This was reported by the brigade's press service and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi.
The soldiers installed the flag on a school destroyed by Russians on the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine.
"A historic day! The soldiers of the 47th Detached Mechanized Brigade put the flag of Ukraine in the village of Robotyne, which is located in one of the hottest areas - Melitopol sector of the front. The blue and yellow flag with the signature of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was put on the school destroyed by the occupying Russian forces on the Day of the National Flag!" the statement reads.
Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, in turn, posted a video with the flag and congratulated Ukraine on the occasion.

On August 22, the General Staff announced that Ukrainian troops were making progress toward Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region, where they are consolidating the lines they had reached. At the same time, the Russian army is moving its troops and using reserves.
