Ukraune’s army achieve successes in Zaporizhzhia region – General Staff
The Ukrainian military is achieving success near Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. They are holding their position at the achieved boundaries. Meanwhile, the Russian army is shifting its troops and bringing in reserves.
Andriy Kovalov, the spokesperson of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported this during a telethon.
Ukrainian forces are still pushing forward in the Bakhmut and Melitopol directions. They have made progress in the Robotyne area and are securing their gains.
Additionally, the Armed Forces are using artillery to target identified enemy positions and responding to enemy artillery fire.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces are carrying out offensive actions to the south of the city.
At the same time, Russian soldiers attempted unsuccessful offensives in Avdiivka, Marinka, and Novomykhailivka districts of Donetsk region. The occupying forces suffered significant losses in terms of personnel, weapons, and equipment. The Russian troops are moving and are tapping into their reserves.
Furthermore, the Armed Forces are successfully repelling enemy advances in the Kupyansk, Lyman, and Bakhmut directions. The enemy's offensive actions in the Klishchiivka district of Donetsk region were unsuccessful. Intense fighting continues.
Buryats in the Zaporizhzhia region are seizing belongings from local people
Russian invaders are still actively involved in stealing and mistreating the peaceful Ukrainian citizens living in areas temporarily controlled by them.
Specifically, groups of Russian occupiers from Buryatia are present in Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region. They are consistently causing fear among the locals by claiming to check their documents that prove their right to live in their own houses.
When the occupiers do not see any proof of property ownership or residency, they “confiscate” all possessions and homes, pretending it is legal. They resort to violence against citizens who express their disagreement or protest.
