Situation in different regions of Ukraine

On the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.

On the northeastern border with Russia, Russian troops launched mortar and artillery attacks, targeting a total of over 20 settlements across Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops shelled 4 settlements across the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops shelled nearly 15 settlements across the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Four areas were subjected to air strikes.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russians shelled over 20 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled Russian attacks in the area of Klishchiivka. Three areas were subjected to air strikes.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops shelled 6 settlements with artillery. Ukrainian forces repelled all the attacks near Avdiivka.

In the Marinka direction, Russian troops shelled 6 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery. Ukrainian forces hold the defense near Marinka and Novomykhailivka. Two areas suffered from air strikes.

In the Shakhtarsk area, Russian troops shelled 6 settlements and launched air strikes near 1 settlement.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian troops  tried to advance near Priyutne, but unsuccessfully. They shelled over 55 settlements across Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. Five areas suffered from air strikes.

Meanwhile, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue their offensive operation in Melitopol and Berdyansk directions. They are holding their positions and countering enemy attacks.

Russia launched 43 air strikes and 45 MLRS attacks against Ukraine

In the past day, the enemy has launched 2 missile strikes and 43 air attacks. They've also carried out 45 MLRS attacks at our troops' positions and areas where people live.

Due to the attacks by Russian terrorists, there are civilian people who have been killed or injured. Homes and other important buildings have been damaged.

There is a high chance that the enemy will continue to launch missile and air strikes all across Ukraine.

AFU hit 4 Russian command posts and 3 artillery systems in the firing positions

On August 21, the Defense Forces' aircraft conducted 6 attacks on locations where enemy forces were gathered.

Rocket and artillery units also struck 4 command centers, 1 spot where enemy forces gathered, and 3 artillery positions used by the enemy.
