Ukrainian forces have partial success near Urozhayne and Staromayorske, and are entrenched near Bakhmut
Ukrainian soldiers are conducting an offensive operation in the Bakhmut, Melitopol, and Berdyansk areas. They had success near Urozhayne and southeast of Staromayorske
This was reported by the Media Platform of the Defense Forces with reference to the AFU General Staff spokesman Andrii Kovaliov.
“The Ukrainian Defense Forces are currently carrying out attacks in the Bakhmut, Melitopol, and Berdyansk directions. They have made some progress toward Urozhayne and the areas south and southeast of Staromayorske, where they have taken control and fortified their positions,” the message says.
Our soldiers are also actively defending the area south of the city of Bakhmut.
Ukrainian troops are also holding their ground in the Kupyansk and Lyman directions. The enemy's attempts to advance northeast of Druzhba have not been successful, and they have been unable to reclaim their previously lost position on the outskirts of Klishchiivka.
Russian forces have been unsuccessful in their attempts to breach the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the vicinity of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhaylivka. As a result, they have suffered significant losses in terms of personnel, weaponry, and equipment.
