On Sunday, June 11, soldiers with the 68th Detached Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush, together with neighboring units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, announced the liberation of the Blahodatne village.
The brigade wrote about this on Facebook.
"Russian invaders resisted to the last, but could not withstand the onslaught of unrestrained wolverines!" the message says.
The statement is about the village of Blahodatne of the Soledar city community of Bakhmut district, Donetsk region.
It is located north of Bakhmut.
The soldiers said that during the operation they managed to capture Russian soldiers.
"The information received from them will help in the further de-occupation of Ukrainian land," the brigade added.
Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar said that Ukrainian soldiers in the north and south of the Bakhmut suburbs have already liberated about 20 square kilometres.
