Ukrainian forces repel several Russian attacks in Kupiansk sector without losing positions

This was announced on July 27 by Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar.

"In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy is attacking, trying to drive us out of our dominant heights. Today, our defenders repelled several attacks without losing positions," the statement says.

According to the statement, to the south of Bakhmut, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are gradually moving forward, fighting continues in the area of Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, and Andriivka.

"The fighting is quite fierce. The enemy is firing intensively," added Maliar.

Ukrainian defenders are repelling enemy attacks north of Bakhmut. In the Lyman sector, several Russian attacks were repelled in the area of Serebrianskyi forest.

• In the Bakhmut sector, the Defense Forces drove the Russian troops out of their positions near Andriivka, and in the Staromaiorske sector they succeeded and are consolidating their positions.

• On July 25, the Ukrainian Armed Forces held back the Russian offensive near Marinka and repelled enemy attacks in other areas.

• Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to advance in three directions. Instead, the Russian forces are trying to regain their lost position near Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

• The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to successfully conduct offensive operations on the southern flank around Bakhmut. Fierce fighting continues near Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka and Andriivka.
