Russian forces attempt recapturing lost position near Robotyne on Southern front – General Staff 

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on July 26.

The Ukrainian military is still moving forward in Bakhmut, Melitopol, and Berdyansk directions. They also had success near Staromayorske and secured their positions there.

“The enemy tried but failed to reclaim their lost position northeast of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region. However, they are resisting strongly, moving their units and troops, and using reserves actively,” the message said. 

As for the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces are conducting offensive actions both north and south of the city.

• In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces pushed the Russians out of their positions near Andriivka, and they are now consolidating their achieved positions near Staromayorske. 

• Yesterday, on July 25, the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully defended against the Russian offensive in the Marinka area and repelled enemy attacks in other areas.
