Russia loses one helicopter, 460 soldiers, and 16 drones in one day – General Staff

Russia's personnel losses in the full-scale war against Ukraine exceeded 243,680 soldiers. On July 25, the Armed Forces of Ukraine held back the Russian offensive in the Marinka area, and repelled enemy attacks in other directions

The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 26.07.23 were approximately:

Russian forces have tried to advance near Dibrova, 26 combat clashes occurred at the front

On July 26, there were 26 combat clashes between Ukrainian soldiers and the enemy at the front, according to the morning briefing from the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine conducted 9 airstrikes on enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment areas. Missile troops and artillery units targeted the enemy's concentration areas, hitting 7 artillery pieces in firing positions, 2 electronic warfare stations, and 2 anti-aircraft missile complexes.

Our defenders successfully destroyed a Russian Ka-52 helicopter, 5 Shahed-136 attack UAVs, and 2 operational-tactical reconnaissance UAVs.

Russia carried out 65 air strikes and 84 MLRS attacks 

On July 25, the Russian army launched 1 missile and 65 air strikes, along with 84 MLRS attacks, targeting Ukrainian troop positions and civilian areas. This resulted in casualties among civilians, and damage to residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure.

The risk of missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

Situation in different regions of Ukraine 

On the northern Ukrainian border, the operational situation has not changed. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

On the northeastern border, Russian troops launched air strikes on two settlements in the Kharkiv region. They also launched mortar and artillery attacks, targeting a total of over 20 settlements across Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

  • In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops shelled 6 settlements across the Kharkiv region. One area suffered from air strikes. Ukrainian forces hold the defense. 
  • In the Lyman direction, Russian troops shelled 5 settlements across the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Four areas were subjected to air strikes. Russian forces attempted advancing near Dibrova, unsuccessfully. 
  • In the Bakhmut direction, Russians shelled over 10 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled Russian attacks in the area of Stupochky and Dyliivka. Three areas were subjected to air strikes. 
  • In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops shelled over 10 settlements with artillery. Ukrainian forces repelled all the attacks near Avdiivka. 
  • In the Marinka direction, Russian troops shelled 3 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery. Ukrainian forces hold the defense near Marinka. Two areas were subjected to air strikes. 
  • In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops shelled over 10 settlements. Three areas suffered from air strikes. 
  • In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian troops are on the defensive. They shelled over 30 settlements across Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. Four areas suffered from airstrikes. 
  • Meanwhile, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue their offensive operation in Melitopol and Berdyansk directions. They are holding their positions and countering enemy attacks.

Previously, it was reported that Russians threatened to deport teachers who refused to cooperate in the occupied Zaporizhzhia region.
