50 Ukrainians injured due to Russian attacks on December 31

Deputy Chairman of Ukraine's Office of the President, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, shared the information on Telegram.

Kyrylo Tymoshenko published data on the number of victims among the civilian population for the day of December 31: 50 people injured, 2 more died.

Twenty-two people were injured in Kyiv, 1 person died as a result of the Russian attack.

In the Khmelnytskyi region, 10 civilians were injured; in the Kherson region 1 person died, another 4 were injured; in the Mykolaiv region 6 people were injured; in the Zaporizhzhia region 5 people were injured. Also 1 person was injured in each of the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions.

• On December 31, the Russian military attacked 8 regions of Ukraine. Ukrainian defenders shot down all 13 UAVs launched. Russia  troops also launched 31 missile and 12 airstrikes.
• Throughout December 31, Russian forces launched artillery and mortar shelling of cities and villages of the Kharkiv region, in Kupyansk they caused large-scale fires.
•  On the night from December 31 to January 1, Russian troops struck the Kyiv region and Kyiv city. Ukrainian air defense eliminated 32 enemy objects.
•  On December 31, Russia attacked the Mykolaiv region with 6 Iskander-type missiles. Later, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 7 UAVs over the region.
•  On New Year's Eve, the Russian military shelled the Nikopol district twice, and a 48-year-old woman was injured in an attack on a residential building.
•  During the day of December 31, Russian troops launched 40 strikes on the Kherson region. On New Year's Eve, Russia targeted the Kherson regional children's hospital, one person was killed and another was injured.
• As a result of the shelling of Zaporizhzhia on December 31, a house was destroyed, and 3 people were injured, among them a pregnant woman and a teenage girl.
•  On December 31, Russian forces launched a missile attack on Khmelnytskyi, as a result of which 8 people were injured. A 22-year-old girl, who was hospitalized in a serious condition after the missile attack on the city, died.
