Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the President's Office, reported on the attack on Kherson on New Year's Eve.
It is noted that the occupying Forces damaged the premises of the Kherson Regional Children's Hospital: about 7 hits were recorded, and more than 700 windows were broken. As a result of the shelling, one person was killed, and one more was injured.
The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Yaroslav Yanushevych, also reported on the shelling of Kherson and the region, which was carried out by the Russian army on December 31.
It is noted that the Russian enemy attacked the territory of the Kherson region 40 times with multiple launch rocket systems, artillery and mortars. The regional center was under Russian fire 18 times: critical infrastructure objects, private and apartment buildings were hit.
“Yesterday, 3 people were injured due to Russian shelling. Among the injured, 2 are children: a 13-year-old boy is in a serious condition, and a 12-year-old girl was moderately injured,” the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration said.
