Russian forces have no intention of retreating in Zaporizhzhia region – Melitopol Mayor Fedorov
There is no tendency for Russian troops to start retreating in southern Ukraine – on the contrary, the invading Russian forces are bringing more and more reserves into the battle
Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov said this on Espreso TV.
"I don't see any retreat today, I don't see the enemy's intentions to retreat. We see the opposite trend, when the invading Russian forces are bringing more and more cannon fodder to the Zaporizhzhia frontline. In order not to mislead myself and others, I am definitely not ready to say that the enemy is retreating today. It is extremely difficult for our heroic military to fight for every square centimeter. Let's not talk about the directions – we understand that Melitopol and Berdiansk are a priority," he said.
