Zhorin also emphasized that now “the state must turn into a total resistance machine, and all forces must be directed to the front.”
"Otherwise, there will be no 'after the victory'" the military added.
- On the night of May 10, Russia became more active and intensified attacks in the northern direction. At about 5 a.m., the Russians attempted to break through the Ukrainian defense in the Kharkiv region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces responded with fire. Since then, fierce fighting has been going on in the north of the Kharkiv region.
- On May 12, Russia claimed control over 9 villages in the northern Kharkiv region. Nazar Voloshyn, a spokesman for the Khortytsia military unit, said that "defensive operations" were underway in the border villages.
