"We observe Russian activity in the Lyman sector. The enemy does not stop trying to capture Terny, conducting small assaults every day. Two days ago, one of these groups was captured in its entirety. More precisely, by cutting off their logistics and food, a group of 6 Russians was forced to surrender. There were no convicts in this group, they were contract soldiers and mobilised personnel. That is, all of them had combat experience," said Sydorenko.
- According to the General Staff, on July 16, the frontline was the hottest in the Pokrovsk sector, while Russians intensified their activity in the Kurakhove sector.
- Chief Sergeant of the unmanned systems battalion of the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade Rustam (Legion) noted that the Russians in the Pokrovsk sector have either run out of armoured vehicles or are redirecting them to another direction.
- Roman Pohorilyi, co-founder of DeepState, noted that the situation is escalating in the area of Urozhayne.
