He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"The DeepState map shows that the village of Urozhaine has fallen under enemy control. Now the Russians are trying to gain a foothold there and pull up reserves. Accordingly, the enemy may continue to advance if the situation is favourable. Ukraine's defence forces are doing everything possible to prevent this from happening," Pohorilyi said.
According to the co-founder of DeepState, the Ukrainian Defence Forces are trying to contain the enemy's pressure and prevent Russia from gaining a foothold and pulling up reserves.
"I hope that the Ukrainian Defence Forces will withstand this pressure. But we need to look by the situation because it is complicated and escalating," Pohorilyi said.
- According to the General Staff, on July 16, the frontline was the most intense in the Pokrovsk sector, while Russian forces intensified their activity in the Kurakhove sector.
- Chief sergeant of the unmanned systems battalion of the 47th Brigade Rustam (Legion) noted that the Russian forces in the Pokrovsk sector have either run out of armoured vehicles or are redirecting them to another direction.
