Investigators identify Russian military involved in attack on Kyiv children's hospital
OSINT investigators have pinpointed specific military units and names of Russian army servicemen involved in the attack on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv on July 8
This was reported by Molfar OSINT investigators.
"This information was obtained through cooperation with confidential sources within the relevant government agencies. This is reliable information about the military units that carried out the attack on 8 July 2024," the investigators said.
Which military units are responsible for the attacks on Ukraine:
- the 44th Missile Brigade of the Russian Aerospace Forces (military unit 83122)
- the 22nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Division of the Long-Range Aviation Command of the Russian Aerospace Forces
- the 22nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Division of the Long-Range Aviation Command of the Russian Aerospace Forces (military unit 06987, based at Engels airfield).
- the 52nd Guards Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment, Aviation Division of the Long-Range Aviation Command of the Russian Aerospace Forces (military unit 33310, based at the Shaikovka airfield).
"The new oncology wing was damaged by a Kh-101 (1, 2) missile, which had a typical descending trajectory before impact and showed no visible damage, ruling out the Russian propaganda hypothesis of its prior engagement by air defense systems. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) found fragments of the Kh-101 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) missile on the hospital grounds, including the rear section with the serial number and the tail rudder. The carriers of such missiles are the Tu-22-M2, Tu-160, and Tu-95MS (1, 2) bombers," investigators said.
According to the investigators, in particular, Russians from the 52nd Guards Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment, Aviation Division of the Long-Range Aviation Command of the Russian Aerospace Forces (military unit 33310, based at the Shaikovka airfield) were involved in the deadly missile attack on Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv.
