Russia to receive another batch of Iranian drones in near future — Ukraine’s Intelligence
The Russian army may soon receive another batch of Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. In total, the contract provides for the supply of 1,750 units
This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence.
"As for drones, the Russian Federation really has problems with its arsenal. To date, they have used approximately 660 Shahed drones. The contract provides for 1,750 units. It also takes time for their delivery and preparation," said Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of the Main Intelligence Department of the Defense Ministry.
"According to our data, now they will have another batch of deliveries - we will specify the number of drones. As a rule, before this, they delivered batches of 250-300 pieces," he added.
Skibitsky reminded that the Russians use different altitudes and different directions to bypass air defense, and also change the areas where they launch drones. He also noted that the launch of a few drones is not effective, and a massive launch is intended to break through our air defense system and hit the enemy's desired targets.
