Russia's night attack. Defense forces destroy all 24 launched Shahed drones
On January 26, the Russian forces resumed attacks on Ukraine with Iranian-made Shahed kamikaze drones
This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Air Force.
The UAVs were launched from the east coast of the Sea of Azov.
Preliminary data states Russia used 24 Shahed drones.
24 Shahed drones were destroyed by anti-aircraft missile units, fighter aircraft and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force, in cooperation with other Ukrainian Defense Forces' air defense units.
Most of the kamikaze drones were destroyed in the center of the country, in the area of the Center Air Command's responsibility.
