The Defense Ministers contact group's next meeting on the Ukrainian Defence will be held in the German Ramstein on January 20, 2023. The German Defense Ministry provided such data after a telephone conversation between German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht and US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on January 6.
It is reported that the main topic of the conversation was the current situation at the front and the provision of military assistance to Ukraine, in particular armored personnel carriers and the Patriot air defense system.
"Together with our allies, we once again demonstrate that we are united in supporting Ukraine, acting as one and in close coordination. Together we are stronger," said Christine Lambrecht.

On November 16, 2022, the 7th meeting of the Contact Group on Defence of Ukraine in the "Ramstein format" took place. Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said that the protection of Ukrainian skies remains a priority for Ukraine at the meetings.
