Air Defence, artillery, ammunition and winter equipment from six countries: Pentagon on "Ramstein format" results
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said that at least six countries announced further military assistance to Ukraine at the seventh meeting of the Contact Group on defence issues
This is reported by "European truth" publication.
"I want to thank Sweden, which announced a military assistance package to Ukraine for 287 million. It includes vital means, particularly air defence systems, that will strengthen Ukraine's ability to defend itself against the ongoing relentless Russian strikes," Austin said.
Spain has promised to send two more Hawk launchers and missiles to them, he said, and Canada has announced the latest tranche of assistance 500 million in aid and "remains one of the largest donors of winter equipment," as previously announced.
"Germany has continued the much-needed supply of anti-aircraft weapons, artillery and MLRS ammunition. Greece has announced an essential transfer of 155 mm artillery shells," the Pentagon chief said.
In addition, Poland pledged to supply additional artillery, anti-tank weapons, and short-range air defence systems.
"All of this assistance will be important, as will the coordination of our security assistance provided by this Contact Group," Austin concluded.

On November 16, the seventh meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine in the "Ramstein format" was held. Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that the priority for Ukraine at the meeting remains the protection of Ukrainian skies.
