US President Joe Biden's visit far outweighs any announcements of large-scale arms supplies to Ukraine. As this visit is of great historical and strategic importance

On February 20, US President Joe Biden visited Ukraine

The leader of the United States made an unexpected, symbolic, and truly historic visit to Kyiv. Previously, the US president had never visited a country at war, where there is a risk of enemy air and missile strikes. Although the White House had informed Moscow of the US president's visit to Ukraine. The presidential administration took this step to avoid any incidents that could lead to a direct conflict between the 2 nuclear powers.

In my opinion, Joe Biden's visit to Kyiv is a clear signal that Ukraine will win this war. We have a historic chance to guarantee the security of our future generations. In Kyiv, the US President said that Putin's goal is the complete destruction of Ukraine, but he will fail, and the West will support Ukraine as long as necessary. Biden emphasized that the West had worked together to provide Ukraine with more than 700 tanks, 1,000 armored combat vehicles, 1,000 artillery systems, a large number of shells, and air defense systems. This is only what has already been transferred to Ukraine. However, military assistance to Ukraine will only increase.

Yesterday, a new USD 460 million package of US military aid has been announced. This package includes weapons systems and ammunition for HIMARS MLRS, artillery ammunition and mines, and 4 radars for air defense systems. It is also possible that the US will speed up the delivery of Abrams tanks to Ukraine. Instead of being manufactured as has been expected, the tanks may be transferred from the US Army's stockpile.

Following the talks, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Joe Biden for agreeing to provide Abrams tanks, air defense systems, and other weapons, but added that Ukraine needed more weapons. Therefore, the issue of supplying long-range weapons and armaments was raised. President Zelenskyy also added that the results of Joe Biden's visit to Kyiv would be seen on the battlefield. However, I would like to emphasize once again that the strategic importance of this visit far outweighs any announcements of arms supplies. Because this visit is of great historical and strategic importance.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs forming assault brigades Offensive Guard

In addition to modern weapons, we need trained and motivated military personnel. Of course, we are preparing reserves. However, for example, the defenders of Bakhmut have been holding back enemy assaults for 8 months. Therefore, for Ukraine, the creation of new military units and replenishment of existing brigades requires systematic and clear for the whole society work. In this regard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is very indicative, as on February 2, it began forming assault brigades of the "Offensive Guard" to strengthen the Ukrainian Defense Forces and liberate the temporarily occupied territories.

In January of this year, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said that the mobilization announced in February last year was continuing. According to him, Ukraine has not yet exhausted its mobilization potential under the current law.
