Results of Biden's visit to Kyiv will be tangible on battlefield - Zelenskyy
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the results of his meetings with US counterpart Joe Biden would soon be visible on the battlefield
Zelenskyy said this on February 20 during a joint press conference with Biden in Kyiv, Espreso TV reports.
"Today our talks were meaningful. It is very symbolic that we are reinfocing our resilience with two meetings. My visit to Washington in December and the visit of Mr. President to Kyiv today. The results of these visits will be tangible on the battlefield, in reinforcement of our soldiers and liberating territories. The US decision to provide Abrams to Ukraine has already laid the foundation for a tank coalition. Our progress in air defense is also important - this is Patriot to protect our cities, this is really a fundamental aspect of our resilience," Zelenskyy said.
He also called Biden's visit today the most important in the history of relations between Ukraine and the United States.
"This first visit of the President of the United States in 15 years is the most important visit in the history of Ukrainian-American relations. It is at this particular time. Because this time is the most difficult. The time when our state is fighting for the united freedom and freedom of all Europeans," Zelenskyy said.
