“Exceptional work”: Ukraine’s UAV company commander on how his unit destroys Russian tanks in Kupyansk direction

He stated this on Espreso. 

“In the Kupyansk and Bakhmut areas, the military unit is still carrying out tasks, effectively using drones to destroy the enemy. In the Kupyansk area, the enemy is trying to attack, but they haven't succeeded in breaking through our defense line. Over the last three days, we've managed to destroy 5 enemy tanks in the Kupyansk area, which were protecting their soldiers and attacking our positions. This was possible due to the combined efforts of our artillery, drones, and infantry, who are doing exceptional work," Fedorenko highlighted.

The commander of the attack drone unit mentioned that the enemy is losing about 3 groups of soldiers every day along a short part of the front, and this is normal for them.

"In the Bakhmut area, our Defense Forces are still carrying out offensive actions and making progress. Every bit of ground is hard-fought because the enemy has gathered a lot of troops and equipment to stop our success. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are moving forward despite this. The mobilized and Storm Z units are reinforcements for the Russians. When they can't break our defenses using machines and artillery, they try with numerous soldiers. Along a short front section, the enemy is losing 2-3 groups of soldiers daily, and this is their usual pattern. No one rescues the injured Storm Z unit members from the battlefield," Fedorenko emphasized.

• On August 7, the Russian army lost 560 soldiers, a helicopter, and 10 tanks during the day. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully defended against Russian attacks in the Kupyansk and Avdiivka directions last night. 

• Ukrainian forces are also making progress and moving ahead in the Tavria direction.
