The Ukrainian forces advanced by 1,700 meters on the flanks of Bakhmut overnight

Serhiy Cherevatyi, spokesman for the Eastern Grouping of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said this on the air of the telethon.

“In the course of the fighting, our units continue to advance on the flanks, despite the fact that they do not have an advantage in personnel, ammunition and equipment. We managed to cover the distance of 150 to 1,700 meters over the last day,” said Cherevatyi.

He noted that Bakhmut is still the epicenter of the fighting. Over the last day, the occupying troops attacked the Bakhmut sector 77 times with artillery and 6 times with aviation.

Stefanchuk announced more NASAMS air defense systems for Ukraine

During his visit to Norway, Speaker of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk announced that Ukraine would receive even more NASAMS air defense systems.

He visited an enterprise in Norway, where NASAMS air defense systems are produced.

“Today I visited an enterprise that produces, in particular, NASAMS air defense systems. We have them in Ukraine and we need more. And there will be more! Soon! Very soon!” Stefanchuk wrote.

During this day, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 21 cruise missiles and 7 enemy reconnaissance UAVs of various types.

Missile and artillery units struck a manpower concentration area, a munitions depot, 3 artillery units at a firing position, an anti-aircraft missile system, 7 electronic warfare stations, and an enemy radar station.
