Ukrainian troops target Russian military observation complex Avanpost
Ukrainian reconnaissance used a drone to target a Russian Avanpost observation complex, known in Russia as "a reliable border guardian".
This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
"This complex interfered with the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine in the Northern direction, so it was turned from a Russian "reliable guardian" into a "hopeless one," the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reports.
The intelligence informs that the aggressor uses such systems to control the border, the territory of important facilities and to conduct reconnaissance.
Avanpost's optics can recognize a person at a distance of up to 10 kilometers during the day and up to 4 kilometers at night.
The observation post is equipped with an autonomous power supply system, radar, communication repeaters, and a server for recording data.
- On September 1, the command of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces targeted 9 Russian ammunition depots in the Tavria sector overnight.
