Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops, reported the information.
"We are advancing in the Tavria sector. The artillery units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces performed 1407 firing missions over the last day," emphasized Tarnavskyi.
Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 183 Russian soldiers in the Tavria sector over the last day and injured 136. Ukraine destroyed 18 units of Russian military equipment: a tank, 2 armored personnel carriers, 8 artillery systems and mortars, 2 UAVs, 4 vehicles and a unit of special equipment.
Also, 9 ammunition depots were destroyed.
- As of September 1, the Ukrainian Defense Forces were still conducting an offensive in the Bakhmut and Melitopol sectors.
